This project seeks to strengthen classroom management, engagement, and equity by adopting Classroom Screen browser-based toolkit featuring over 20 interactive widgets, timers, noise meters, random name/group selectors, behavior signals, polls, and more. It addresses critical needs: establishing routines and clear expectations, promoting self-regulation and focus, and ensuring balanced student participation. As a result, teachers can reduce disruptions, streamline transitions, and free time for instruction. Academic outcomes include a drop in off-task behavior, a boost in participation, improved comprehension through visual clarity, and time saved for deeper teaching and lesson planning. The project also enhances equitable classroom dynamics every student has a voice through random selection and supports diverse learners with visual and interactive tools.

This project implements Classroom Screen, a web tool containing 20+ classroom widgets—timers, clocks, noise meters, random name/group pickers, polls, text boxes, drawing tools, and more. Teachers are able to set up screens (including saved templates) to guide transitions, display instructions, manage noise levels, and promote equal participation during lessons. Students benefit through clearer routines and expectations, visual cues for self-regulation and focus, and equitable involvement via randomizers and polls. Teachers save time on lesson prep, manage behavior more smoothly, and can quickly adapt screens on the fly.
Students will experience clearer routines and better self-regulation thanks to visual timers, noise meters, and behavior signals, leading to fewer disruptions and improved focus. Equity in participation will increase as tools like random name pickers and group creators ensure every student gets a fair chance to contribute. Overall engagement and student-driven reflection are expected to rise through interactive polls and exit tickets. I will be able to measure these outcomes by looking at polls, quizzes, and interaction in live time.
A Classroom Screen Pro account will be used daily in the classroom across all subject areas to enhance the student learning experience.
