This project seeks funding to purchase a Meta Quest 3S 128GB virtual reality headset bundle to enhance mural design in the art classroom. Using VR, students will be able to visualize, plan, and collaboratively design large-scale murals in a fully immersive environment before transferring their ideas to physical walls throughout the school.
Learning Aids - Sunshine state book sets, robotics kits, puzzle boards, science models, engineering supplies, etc.
Students will:
-Use VR painting apps (e.g., Tilt Brush, Painting VR) to design murals
-Collaborate in teams to plan compositions and color schemes
-Project their designs onto real walls using mixed reality for layout guidance
-Paint the final murals on school walls, transforming shared spaces
-Introduce students to emerging digital art technologies
-Foster collaboration and creativity through immersive design
-Empower students to take ownership of beautifying school spaces
-Bridge traditional and digital art practices in a meaningful way
