Goal
Creating a unique and innovative product is quite challenging for middle school students. Customizing their product with a logo can set they part from the competition. Having the ability to create custom logos, images and more from a Cricut machine would greatly increase profits for teams.
What will be done with my students
Students in my entrepreneurship class have the opportunity to participate in a market place day event. This will take place at the end of semester 2 right before winter break. Each class is broken into groups and are tasked with creating a product from scratch. They determine how many products to make, who is the target audience and what the competition will be. As they create the products, the students need to have ways to customize their products to stand out from the competition.
Benefits to my students
Students in my entrepreneurship class will have the opportunity to display their custom logo and designs on the products they make. By utilizing the Cricut machine students can customize their product to include brand names, logos, flavor or type of smell. By using a Cricut machine 73 of my students will be positively impacted and gain a way to customize their products.
Budget Narrative
