Goal

Students will be able to sell their products on a mobile CPMarket cart instead of a stationary classroom.

What will be done with my students

Cypress Palm Entrepreneur/DECA students have had to limit their marketing/selling/delivery method to the constraints of a classroom. CPMarket cart allows students to extend what they are learning in their Entrepreneur classes by using a 'real-world' mobile application.

Benefits to my students

Entrepreneur/DECA students will not be tied to a classroom to sell their products. As a second year DECA school(DECA is an international organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management around the globe), we will be applying for a 'School-Based Enterprise' certification. Making our CPMarket mobile will allow us more opportunities to fulfill the application process. Students will be able to interact much more efficiently with the student body, teachers and parents if they have everything with them in different areas of the building at different times and at different events. Not only will students learn to collaborate with each other in activities such as creating shifts and analyzing inventory, but they will learn how to create, market and sell a variety of items based on student/teacher interest and input. Having the CPMarket cart will allow students to apply and extend what they are learning/creating in their Entrepreneur class on a daily basis.
