The goal is to have our students exposed and enjoy a theatrical production of a children's classic book " the Velveteen Rabbit".
Florida Repertory Theatre from Ft Myers has performed at our school for the past 2 years a children's book as a theatrical production. Our students rarely get to the movies much less see a live performance.
The value and the exposure to how a book can come to life serves to be inspirational, especially when we do reader's theater in the classroom setting.
