Lipman Family Farms - $1,980.00
Task Boxes are made to target a specific skill that students need to develop. Task boxes can help support fine motor, gross motor skills to cognitive skills. They can vary from sensory activities or simple 'put in tasks' to more complex and educational targets. The goal is for my students to have access to task boxes that are age appropriate to help in all these areas. These boxes help students become independent one step at a time. The current challenge is that these students have been using the current task boxes since approximately 10 years. Purchasing new task boxes would definitely help with engagement!
Other -
I work with students who have significant intellectual disabilities, Autism, and behavioral needs. My students will be able to work on fine motor skills, gross motor skills, 'put in' tasks, and academic skills such as sorting, matching, and categorizing.
Task boxes promote independence. That is one of my primary goals in a self contained special education classroom.
Items include fully assembled task boxes with materials. Item also includes the furniture to store the task boxes in the classroom.
