Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 519

Thanks to this incredibly generous donation, we were able to provide meals for every single student who attended our Bio Bootcamps—both weekend sessions and the big day of testing! Once word got out that Champions for Learning was behind this amazing support, even more community members stepped up to help, and we received extra donations that ensured no need went unmet.

Each student received a healthy snack to stay energized during reviews and testing, along with breakfast and lunch at every bootcamp. As a special reward for their hard work and dedication, they also got a fun "junk food" treat—because a little extra motivation goes a long way!

We were the only department able to offer this full experience, and our students were truly grateful. While we’re mindful of student privacy and don’t have photos of them to share, I did snap a few fun ones of myself and one of our amazing APs.

And best of all—our students showed improvement from last year! 🎉📈

It’s safe to say that thanks to the Macro–Meet Our Goal grant… we definitely met (and maybe even macro-exceeded) our goal!
