Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 150

Thank you so much,

Currently I am using the ipad to make the lessons so that my students have step by step instructions as well as can watch me do the steps on the board. I also love being able to see all the students'ipads at the same time, to make sure they are on task, and understand the directions.

My more capable students love it when I print out the directions, and when I make them, I include what tools, or layers need to be added. My students who need to follow along can watch on the board, and I can watch their ipad on my ipad making sure they understand what I am showing. It also allows me to see my student's artwork; those working a little faster, and make sure they fully understand the directions. Not having to get up and walk around the room and check all 26 Ipads every 2 minutes really helps speed up the project and saves on down time.

I have had several students join 7th and 8th grade this year with little on NO English. These students have had zero experience using ipads and pencils they were so excited to learn something new! I get the feeling it is nice to be on the same page as everryone else in the class since most of my students have not used the ipads, except with me this year. Beign able to see what everyone is doing and be able to show what to do has really made this grant invaluable. Thank you againg for this grant.

Sincerely,

Original Grant Overview

Goal

To make teaching with the ipads easier for the students

What will be done with my students

I will teach them how to create images using procreate. We will learn about Art history and create our own images using the ipads. We will learn how to use different ways of creating Art as well as learn how to research. Having an ipad to show the students on would make this a lot easier.

Benefits to my students

Most of my students do not have access to ipads. So I need to show the class how to navigate the ipad. Having an ipad to show them on would make this process easier. As well as having a screen that doesn't reflect when project. This will help my students with better visuals.

Budget Narrative

Ipad so that I can teach my student's how to use the ipads, and I can make sure that the ipads are secure. Ipencil to write. The case is to take care of the ipad so that it stays in the best condition. The charging cable is to make sure the student ipads needs to be charged during class. Paperlike is so that the screen is visible on the projector, it takes out the glare. Vinyl sticker paper so that we can make stickers for one of our projects.
