Impact to My Classroom

Flexible Seating has helped all of my students be able to focus more fully in class. Through the use of the flexible seats, I have been able to watch my students focus and enage more fully in daily lessons. My students are less fidgety and able to concentrate better while they work in whole group activities, small group activities and even during their independent learning each day. They have made a world of difference in my students lives and I love watching them learn comforably, while performing at their best! The flexible seats have also helped my students learn how to share, take turns and stay on task while comfortably sitting around the room in class each day while they work. They have been an amazing tool to use with all of my students!

Original Grant Overview

Goal

My goal is to empower my students with the ability to take turns sitting, comfortably so that they can focus better and learn more while they are in my classroom. 

 

What will be done with my students

My students will be able to use flexible seats to help them take part in listening activities, working in small groups, and working independently on their flexible seat cushions to increase their level of engagement and focus when completing assignments and activities. 

 

Benefits to my students

Flexible seating can increase students' focus and levels of concentration. Flexible seating also helps increase blood flow and allows more oxygen flow; which also enhances the level of students' engagement. 

 

Budget Narrative

I will need $77.03 to purchase flexible seats for my students from Amazon.
