Original Grant Overview
Goal
My goal is to provide each student with a individual book bin to store all of their academic folders and notebooks in so they can be prepared and organized for each upcoming subject.
What will be done with my students
Throughout the day students are switching between various learning subjects. The transition time taken while switching often takes longer than expected which results in losing instruction time. I would love for each of my students to have an individual book bin to keep on their desk to hold all of their folders and composition notebooks so they are easier to access.
Benefits to my students
Individual book bins for each child will set my students up for success. We will gain instruction time for every subject not having to transition and move to their cubby to get their supplies for the next subject. They will feel prepared and organized for success! Being prepared will make them feel like a leader.
Budget Narrative
The budget narrative is for two sets of 12 book bins for each child in my classroom. This cost includes taxes.
