Goal(s)

My goals are to combine art with math in a creative way, that gets my students grade 5-8 excited for both math and art.

Project Description

The students will choose a picture of a pet or favorite animal and turned into a geometric animal.
The students will be able to learn about careers in art that use light boxes to aid in their work.
My students will improve their artworks faster by using a light box to draw their animal.

Expected Outcomes

My students will be able to find images in different media types and use different ways to
Copy, enlarge or trace the images found using a tracing light box.

Purpose of Funding

I need $295.91 To purchase 5 light boxes A4 , tracing paper 9 x 12, Sulfite drawing paper to mount animal drawings and tax.
