Original Grant Overview
Goal
My goal is to take our second grade students to the zoo for hands on learning about animals in their habitats.
What will be done with my students
We will take our second graders to the zoo where they will learn about plants and animals that live in Florida and what their natural habitats are. They'll learn about how animals survive in the wild and what they need to live. Our students will also learn about various plants and what plants need to survive.
Benefits to my students
Our students will learn about plants and animals through hands on activities and observations. Students will get up close and personal with animals and learn what animals need to survive.
