Goal

To improve the motivation and engagement of students with learning disabilities through the use of incentives to reward progress at specified target points en route to a goal.

What will be done with my students

Exceptional student education teachers will help students set goals in terms of behavior and achievement within the classroom, and further incentivize the steps to success with tangible rewards.

Benefits to my students

Through goal-setting and rewarding success at specified progress points, motivation and engagement of students with learning disabilities will improve within core classes. This in turn should result in increases to student achievement in core academic classes.
