Now that each of my students have a white board and eraser at their desk, I am able to enhance insturction throughout each subject of the day. White boards allow me to assess students understadning of instruction while keeping them engaged. They also give each students an opportunity to share their thinking without fear of failure and to feel brave enough to share an answer during instruction. Along with that, students are able to help each other by sharing the work on their boards.

Goal(s)

My goal is for each of my students to have a white board and eraser at their desk to enhance insturction throughout each subject of the day.

Project Description

These will be used for quick checks on instruction, collaboration, and monitoring student engagement.

Expected Outcomes

White boards allow all students to feel brave enough to share an answer during instruction. Along with that, students are able to help each other by sharing the work on their boards.

Purpose of Funding

1 pack of white boards with erasers will be purchased so each student has his/her own to use all year.
