Original Grant Overview
Goal
The goal of this grant is to give my students the opportunity to engage in Science and Mathematics activities through the use of hands-on Stem activities, that allow them to be creative and work as a team.
What will be done with my students
My students will be given opportunities to build, create and use critical thinking skills during Science, Math & Social Studies explorations in small groups.
Benefits to my students
My students will be given time to use their critical thinking skills and work in small groups to accomplish various tasks and work as a team. As a result, my students will learn how to work together, set goals and create new and exciting things. Time spent working together will teach my students how to be independent thinkers and accomplish goals that they set, through the use of exploration, engagement and shared learning experiences.
