Goal

My goal with purchasing these privacy shields is to reduce distractions and provide privacy for my students while they are working on independent assignments and assessments. 

What will be done with my students

Students will use the privacy shields throughout the year when needed. It will allow them an area to work that is private and has less distractions.  

Benefits to my students

In order for students to do their very best work, some students require that all distractions be eliminated. These shields provide the privacy and space that many students need. I currently have homemade privacy folders that I made out of manila folders. They are not sturdy enough and often fall over, becoming a distraction. They are also not large enough to provide a comfortable work space for each student. These privacy shields are a better size and more durable. They will allow students to focus on the tasks that require more privacy such as independent work and assessments. It will also allow students to advocate for themselves and become more independent with their learning.

These privacy shields are currently being sold on Amazon with free shipping. For 2 sets of 12 with taxes the total comes to $126.24. (tax=$8.26)
