Goal

My goal is to enhance creativity and thinking outside the box! Having STEAM challenges on a weekly basis will engage students to learn, solve problems and collaborate with their peers. They will work in small groups to improve team building skills and working together to reach one goal! 

What will be done with my students

Steam projects have a huge impact on students problem solving skills, team building skills and thinking outside the box. Communication among team members is critical to succeed and also critical for their social development. Steam activities can be created to go with any subject area. These engineering blocks will create an engaging activity for all students and enhance the learning in all subject areas.  

Benefits to my students

The students in my classroom will be excited, engaged, and challenged. The communication and community within the classroom will become more unified and focused on working together. When you set goals, and have a plan, you are more likely to succeed when you work as a team.
