Original Grant Overview

Goal

The goal of this grant is to enhance our science curriculum while teaching all about animal adaptations. This is a fun way for students to better understand this science standard.

What will be done with my students

These 9 books will be read aloud and used to teach the science standard about animal adaptations. Students will choose an adaptation to investigate further. They will use these books to work with other classmates and create examples of the adaptation investigated. Work will be presented and displayed for rest of students.

Benefits to my students

This grant will be a benefit to all my students by helping them understand this abstract science standard. At the same time, they will improve their research skills as well as being able to work and communicate with others.
