My students are obssessed with these materials and look forward to using them each Friday. They are engaged and think more critically. Students now want to be engineers! They are learning AND having fun. This is a teacher's dream. Thank you!

Original Grant Overview

Goal

My goal is to provide my students with a weekly STEAM project to explore and complete. They will benefit from creative thinking, planning, problem solving and working with others.  

 

What will be done with my students

STEAM education provides students with a well-rounded foundation of skills to help them understand a wide range of concepts. As each week goes by, they will learn how to work together and become great problem solvers.  

 

Benefits to my students

Students are excited and engaged in all STEAM challenges. It teaches critical thinking. With the grant materials, students will learn about the properties of solids and how to use different materials to work together to create a product during each Friday challenge.
