Goal

My goal is to help all students in my third grade class become life long readers and also promote that reading is both for learning and enjoyment. Reading a variety of books and materials can help the students have a better understanding of the world around them. My goal is also to provide the students with types of materials that will make them want to read on their own and also know that reading can help them with all learning skills 

What will be done with my students

Students will be provided with a variety of books to interest all loves of learning and interests. Students will be read to daily, have allotted time for independent reading, and students will be able to utilize the books to learn about world news, people, and events that will enhance their learning.  

Benefits to my students

Student's knowledge and enjoyment in reading will benefit in different subject areas, overall learning, and enjoyment of reading will improve.
 

Budget Narrative

A Letter From your Teacher, Trapped in a Video Game, My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish series, Wings of Fire boxset, The Last Kids on Earth Collection, and Our Class is a Family will all be added to our classroom library to enhance the reading experience in the classroom.
