Original Grant Overview
Goal
My goal is to get 3 class sets of blank story books for my students to write their our children's story at the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
What will be done with my students
Towards the end of this upcoming school year, I would like my students to take on the project of writing a children's book. They work hard on their writing skills throughout the year and I believe this is a great way for my 5th graders to be creative while still using those skills.
Benefits to my students
They will get to showcase their writing skills and abilities while being able to put their own personality into their writing. I wrote a children's book when I was in elementary school and I still have it today! A great memory for me that I am hoping to give my students.
