Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 42

My students are in love with our new weather station and tools! We are using it daily during our weather and climate lessons and a student is even using it to build slides for our morning news program. It has been a welcome addition and has brought about alot of interest schoolwide.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

To create a hands on interactive experience using all of our senses as we explore science and the weather with an outdoor learning station.

What will be done with my students

My students will be able to learn all about the weather and nature as they use real life weather tools in an outdoor environment.

Benefits to my students

Interactive hands-on learning will enable students of all ages to come outside and learn all about science. They will be able to see first hand how the tools work and how to look at the weather from a new perspective!!
