Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 200

With the materials purchased through this grant we were able to replenish mhc neede items for the Bobcat Boutique.  The students continue to learn how to make and market items.  This year they worked for months to prepare for the district STEAM Expo and sold several items.  The goal was to give back and they were able to do just that and support several great causes.  THey donated to Parnters for Breast Cancer Care Inc, Champions for Learning and adotped a Turtle Nest throught Friends of Rookery Bay.   All made possible due to this grant.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

My goal is to continue and improve the Entrepreneurship Club, named Bobcat Boutique at Eden Park. This club allows the students to create, make and market their products throughout the school and beyond.

What will be done with my students

The students will create items and/or personalized items. They can be made from scratch or even repurposed to be marketed and sold to the students at Eden Park Elemetarty/

Benefits to my students

The kids in the club will learn what it costs to run a "shop". They will have to create designs that will work, are reasonable in cost and determine how much to sell it for. The profits would be used to buy more materials to continue working on in the club, raise money for end of year trips, and to learn to give back to the community with Cricut for a Cause. In Immokalee we are fortunate to have so much support and help for our students, this will teach them to give back.
