Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 50

So far the group that is selling the tumblers is ready for Market Place Day. They have practiced making tumblers for staff members and for group members. They will be making a set of tumbers for an IBI class. The teacher wants them for her students. Our Marketplace place day is set for May 24th. So, the number of students affected will change after that day. I will have the students do a pre-sale in May so that we can begin filling orders before the big sale day. The students and staff love the tumblers. Next year for Leader in Me I will be hosting a group who will make a school spirit store. The sublimation oven will be used frequently to conitnue to make quality tumblers in a variety of shapes and sizes for the students and staff at Corkecrew Elementry. We need to make sure we are decreasing our single use plastic bottle use this year and years to come. The sublimation oven is amazing. The students are so excitied to see the products that comes out of it. I cannot thank you enough for gifiting us this amazing oven that helps us make producits to save the environment around us.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

For my students be able to make professional looking items for their market day selling experience. This sublimation oven will be able to do 4 water bottles or tumblers at a time.

What will be done with my students

The Students will find a problem, and create a product for their market day. My students identified a problem in the school. They found students are losing their water bottles. The students will use the sublimation oven to create large graphic prints and designs. They may also create personalized designs. . I have a color Epson printer to use to print the design to use with the sublimation oven. The sublimation oven allows them to create a wider range of,products.

Benefits to my students

They would be creating professional looking products while reducing single use water bottles. They would learn they are able to solve the problem of students losing unmarked water bottles around the school.
