Original Grant Overview

Goal

To enhance learning opportunities for students through hands on experiences in leadership roles.  

 

What will be done with my students

Students will be able to experience the lifecycle of several different insects. They can record, discuss, and compare these observations in their science journals.  

 

Benefits to my students

Students will experience insect lifecycles first hand. Insect lifecycles are outlined for several grades within our science curriculum.  

 

Budget Narrative

Our school garden club creates leadership opportunities for our students while teaching them how to successfully manage a garden to support our ecosystem as well as provide food for future generations.
