Goal

My goal is for students to be able to work at ease without the fear of their laptop losing battery life and dying during an important task. 

What will be done with my students

Every student is given a laptop. It is the student's responsibility to take the laptop home each night and return it to school the next day, making sure it has 100% charge. Technology is used throughout the day so it is imperative that it is charged enough to be used throughout the day. This charging station would enable students' computers to be safely charged throughout the day, and for those parents who want their child's computer to stay at school, it would give an area that is ventilated and "wires free".  

Benefits to my students

One benefit for my students will be that they will not have to worry about the battery life of their computer. Unfortunately, many times the computers are not charged overnight and either have no battery, or the battery loses life during the class. Students will be able to have a separate area to charge their laptop. Parents who would like their child's computer to stay at school will also have an area to keep their child's computer. Another benefit is that this charging station makes it safer so that wires aren't throughout the classroom floor, causing a hazard to the students that will be walking throughout the room. 

Budget Narrative

The total is for one charging station that will fit 12 computers. The website is Amazon so there will be no shipping charges.
