Goal

Our goal is to reward students who demonstrate the SOAR expectations throughout the school day: Success, Organization, Attendance and Respect.

What will be done with my students

Every Friday students who have earned a positive referral for earning one of the SOAR expectations will have a chance to spin the prize wheel during lunch. Students will be surveyed at the beginning of the year to see what prizes they will enjoy receiving. Each quarter student names will be entered into a raffle for a grand prize.

Benefits to my students

By rewarding students for their positive behaviors it is more likely that the behavior will occur in the future. When a favorable outcome, event, or reward occurs after an action, that particular response or behavior will be strengthened.
