Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 19

The wireless mice that my students received from Champions for Learning have made a huge impact in their digital learrning. The mice make it easier for my students to control the outcome of their learning as well as have full control of their creation on the computer. The students have created more powerpoints to present to their class, in technology the teacher allows them to do more digitally creative projects at such a young age because they have learned how to use the mouse, and the frustration level when using a mouse instead of a mouse pad is very minimal. The mice is their property and they have also learned responsibility and taking care of something that is precious to them! Thank you.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

My goal is for all students to be prepared every day when using their technology in class. All students having working devices/technology allows for smooth and uninterrupted lessons. 

 

What will be done with my students

Engaging students in what technology has to offer will enhance and engage my students on a daily basis. Wireless mice to travel with them from related arts, to home and to school daily will help make their computer experience more enjoyable as well as make completing schoolwork easier.  

 

Benefits to my students

Each year students receive a laptop of their own. Most students last year used the touch pad which made it hard for young students to maneuver. A wireless mouse helps second graders perform tasks with more ease and precision. Some students come to school with light up gaming mice which is distracting to other students who do not buy their own mouse for their computer. I would like my class to feel like they are all equal and capable of the same caliber of work.  

 

Budget Narrative

The budget is for 20 small wireless mice. No shipping fee as it will be purchased with PRIME on Amazon.
