We are a PBIS school, and we rewards students for doing the right thing. We have quarterly celebrations throughout the school and the connect 4 , large dominoe, dart kickball and dice game are a big hit. We even use them for family events and STEAM days in technology class. There is nothing better than seeing a studnet ( or family) smiling and laughing having a good time celebrating successes.

Goal(s)

Our students work hard and I woud like for them to have a reward day that they look forward to. These larger than life games would be a great way to get outside and celebrate success.

Project Description

My students would have opportunities to earn rewards. These rewards would be quarterly based on reaching levels of achievement/success. They will be "playing" games that still require them to problem solve, collaborate, and use their math skilss! :)

Expected Outcomes

Everyone needs something to look forward to. All work and no play, is not a philosphy I want my students to learn. I want them to realize that when they put forth their effort not only can they be successful, but they can earn a fun reward too. These larger than life games will be seen by all and hopefully encourage all students to reach their goals.

Purpose of Funding

4 larger than life games (2 of each, 4-in-a-row and kickball darts) to be used with K-5 in groups to reward their hard work.
