Students were so excited to complete our first Breakout Edu lesson. Since then, we have completed several other Breakout Edu activities. Breakout Edu is similar to an 'escape room' where students have to work together to solve puzzles in order to unlock the special box. It is a great way to foster collaboration and communication, while working on academic skills. There are numerous activities on the Breakout Edu website and all of them are easy to set up. I look forward to finding the next Breakout activity and I know my students do as well!

Goal(s)

"Foster an unforgettable learning experience and build community with fun content-aligned games" (BreakoutEDU). My goal is to provide my students with a Breakout EDU box and obtain an online subscription to BreakoutEDU so that I can have multiple educational Math puzzles to use with my students.

Project Description

I love using hands-on games and activities in my classroom to review Math concepts. BreakoutEDU is an engaging way to learn and review Math. Students work with groups to figure out 'puzzles' in order to successfully open the BreakoutEDU box.

Expected Outcomes

Students will benefit by having a hands-on and engaging approach to learning Math. They will also gain valuable social/emotional skills while working as a team to solve puzzles.

Purpose of Funding

BreakoutEDU will provide engaging Math activities for my students for many years to come!
