Original Grant Overview
Goal
The goal is to provide each student with a wireless mouse to make their district provided laptops more student user friendly.
What will be done with my students
Much of our learning & teaching is done with the help of technology since COVID. We are grateful that the district has provided each student with a laptop. I have found that students tend to have difficulty using the touchpad mouse on their laptops. An external mouse would make it easier for them to use their laptops and navigate. Thank you for your time and consideration!
Benefits to my students
Having a wireless mouse makes a laptop more student friendly. This, in turn, will make it easier for students to navigate their computers and their learning. Right clicking and double clicking are made especially easier when using an external mouse rather than a laptop's touchpad.
Budget Narrative
The budget includes 25 mice and 48 AA batteries for the mice. There are no shipping costs as these will be purchased from Amazon.
