Original Grant Overview
Goal
To make the media center more child friendly and easier for all students and staff to find their desired library book.
What will be done with my students
Lavern Gaynor Elementary will be hosting students K-5 this year. This building was created for grades 3-5 and needs to be updated to accommodate our younger learners.
I want to purchase custom banners like the one showed above. Students will be able to use these banners to help them find the section they need.
Benefits to my students
Students will be able to find the books they want more efficiently and will spend less time wandering the media center looking for the appropriate section.
These banners will benefit all students for years to come.
Budget Narrative
These banners will be a permanent addition to the media center and will benefit students for years to come.
I am currently media specialist at both Lavern Gaynor and Herbert Cambridge Elementary. I will be requesting these banners for both new schools.
