Original Grant Overview
Goal
My goal is to provide my students with Padlet and Kahoot opportunities to make virtual learning interactive and fun!
What will be done with my students
I will be teaching third grade virtually this school year. On Padlet I can pose a question and students can respond while seeing other student's responses as well. Student's typing skills will improve as well as how they form sentences. Students will practice using correct grammar in their answers such as capital letters and punctuation at the end of their sentences. Kahoot offers my students a fun way to show what they know. Students participate in online quizzes that I can download or create. I will be able to pull the reports and see who might need some extra help or practice.
Benefits to my students
My student's reading and writing skills will greatly improve with the Padlet account. Padlet and Kahoot can be used in any subject area. I can pull up the Padlet or Kahoot results and see who might need some additional help or who is ready for another activity.
