Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 18

The "Kleen Slate' whiteboards worked well from day one.  My students use them almost every day, across all subject areas.  The students LOVE using them.  The well placed handle easily allowed my young students to display their response, by holding it up, and the students love to share what they wrote or drew this with teachers and other classmates.  They were also colorful , bright, and a welcome change from writing with pencil and paper.  These especially worked well during Covid restrictions and safe distancing, as each student could keep their own individual board in their desk, and dispay their reponse to others without getting too close.  These boards enhanced students learning in many different ways and made learning fun.  They will be able to be used again for many years ahead!  THANK YOU!

Goal(s)

My goal is for each student to have their own individual 'Kleen Slate' whiteboard to allow all of them to learn and respond to tasks in a fun and engaging way.  

 

Project Description

These specialized, modern, individual white boards will be used across all subject areas. The are designed with a built in handle and customizable inserts. Perfect for learners of all ages, levels, and abilities. 

 

Expected Outcomes

When students are asked a question or to perform a specific task, students can respond on their individual white Board. students can then easily hold up and show and share their responses. The teacher can immediately see student responses, taking into account correct responses, and then and use the information to plan for further individual instruction and/or immediate student feedback. 

 

Purpose of Funding

This cost will cover 24 individual hand held white boards which includes a dry erase marker and detachable microfiber cleaning cloth for each whiteboard.
