Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 150

With the addition of the Cricut to our school students have already started a few different projects around the school. Such as personalizing the doors of our classrooms by adding the teacher's name above their doors, creating bulletin boards for our school, as well as creating plaques to make our teacher of the month program more meaningful. I know this grant will continue to impact not only the NJHS club but will help create a more unified school community! NJHS and I thank you for this grant!

Original Grant Overview

Goal

To provide students, NJHS members, and teachers with a tool to create do-it-yourself projects for use in the classroom and around the school to increase school spirit and grow a create a community at Corkscrew Middle.

What will be done with my students

Students and teachers will be trained to use the cricut system and will be able to create unique projects to decorate and enhance our school community. One of the projects my NJHS students would like to complete is creating vinyl decals to help add motivational quotes and school spirit to the student bathrooms.

Benefits to my students

The cricut machine will allow my NJHS members, students, and teachers to create a school community by creating shirts, bulletin boards, spirit signs, as well as countless other projects to add spirit to CMS. My NJHS kids have been working in creating a more spirited school community and having this tool is a helpful start in creating school pride.
