Original Grant Overview
Goal
To provide math classrooms with headphone splitters so students share devices and still hear lessons and/or watch videos.
What will be done with my students
Students at Golden Gate High School are encouraged to work collaboratively to solve problems and think critically. Many times, they are given digital assignments or videos to review in groups or pairs. The headphone splitters will allow for all students in a group to hear the audio portion of lessons while sharing a device.
Benefits to my students
Since many groups work at their own speed, the splitters will allow for groups to watch videos or begin lessons when they are ready, instead of the entire class working at the same pace or multiple groups playing the audio at the same time so that it becomes difficult to hear.

Each head phone jack is $11.49 on Amazon, and we are requesting 30 of them ($344.70).
