Goal

Learning by doing is vital! My goal is to create more vivacious, vibrant, dynamic learning opportunities for my students to improve their skills in basic academics, social/emotional, behavioral, independence, hand-eye coordination, fine motor, and communication skills. In order to achieve this, I need my students working together with their classmates using hands on learning manipulatives in the classroom. 

What will be done with my students

Students will work together using educational, highly engaging, hands on learning manipulatives. Being engaged in the learning activity will improve their basic academic, social/emotional, independence, hand-eye coordination, fine motor, and communication skills. Most importantly, this will also reinforce positive behaviors.  

Benefits to my students

By providing the hands on learning manipulatives, my students will benefit by being engaged in an activity which will improve their basic academic, social emotional/ behavioral, independence, hand-eye coordination, fine motor, and communication skills. Most importantly, this will also reinforce positive behaviors.  

Budget Narrative

Funds will be used to purchase a set of manipulatives to be used by students with significant cognitive impairments.
