“Help! I can't hear my Ipad.” has impacted all 17 of my amazing students. We received our ipad minis at the beginning of the year and got the news that we would be able to keep them all year long! We all were over the moon about this news. Once we got them and started using them in the classroom one small problem came up. The students couldn’t hear their ipad and I couldn’t hear my students! We needed some new headphones for them as soon as possible! This is when I decided to write this grant.

The headphone we are supplied with are not the most comfortable things around. When the students are using the ipad or computer they often take their headphones off and rub their ears from the headphones hurting. Even sometimes they just put the headphone around their necks since they do not want them pushing on their ears. I realized that we not only need new headphones for ipads we also need to get new ones for our computers. This is why I asked to purchase 12 new headphones.

Since receiving the headphones it has been amazing. The students were so excited to be able to hear their ipads and I was excited as well to be able to hear my students. These headphones has made learning much more comfortable and useful. Since having the new headphone the students do not have to take them off throughout their work anymore. They are able to work quietly and comfortably. This results in them focusing their attention on the task instead of worrying about their headphones. Having the headphone at our computers and ipads has changed the way we use technology.
