Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 160

All of my students, in all of my classes have enjoyed having fish tanks in my classroom.  It has not only provided my Marine Science class with hands-on labs and activities, it has also provided a calm and relaxing environment for all of my students.

For my Marine Science class, as part of their final grade, my students were responsible for weekly cleanings of the fish tanks.  The cleanining included the testing of salinity, pH, Nitrate, Nitrite and Ammonia levels.
