Impact to My Classroom

Dear Champions for Learning and W.I.N.G.S,

My students and I are forever grateful and thankful for the opportunity to thrive in our classroom through technology. Without your support my students simply would not have the resources that best engage this generation of children. Every day the IPADS are integrated into lessons to meet the needs as well as enrich classroom learning. Students are crazy about Kahoot, Padlet, Classkick, Seesaw, Prodigy, Plickers and many other apps that cultivate their learning. Students have used the iPads as extension assignments, center rotations, rewards and independent studies. This gift has truly been impactful and engaging in just the few short months of having them. The enthusiasm I have noticed with my students has been something I have be searching for, for many years of my teaching career. Thank you again for instilling the love for learning back into the classroom, my students and I have been heavily impacted by your generosity.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

Our goal is to incorporate the use of technology during instruction using ipads. Our students are technological geniuses who would thrive with the opportunity to use more technology. Ipads encourage a fun, positive and creative learning environment for all.  

 

What will be done with my students

Students will be engaged through lessons by using numerous apps that will expand their learning. Some activities and apps would include: kahoot, QR code scavenger hunts, flipgrid, padlet, iMovie and many more.  

 

Benefits to my students

Students and teachers will both benefit from the use of ipads in the classroom because they serve as an additional educational resource. Students would have access to the web at the touch of a button. The benefits of having more ipads are endless when they are placed in the right classrooms with the right group of educators!  

 

Budget Narrative

We will use these Ipads daily during small group instruction. This additional instructional piece will give us the opportunity to teach in a brand new way!
