Goal

Our goal is to incorporate the use of technology during instruction via Apple TV connections to encourage a positive and fun learning environment. Students will have the chance to participate in interactive learning activities that will help their social and academic advancement.  

What will be done with my students

Teachers will be able to project interactive games on the whiteboard through the use of Apple TV to help students adapt to 21st Century technology. Educators can use Apple TVs as an instructional tool to project songs, games, and as a fun extension to the daily curriculum. Apple TVs, coupled with the interactive Mimio board, allow for educators to provide our students with unforgettable learning experiences that develop social, emotional, and mental growth.  

Benefits to my students

Students and teachers will both benefit from the use of Apple TVs in the classroom because they serve as an additional educational resources. Teachers can project images, educational videos and songs, and even interactive games, all with just the click of a button. A teacher can easily project these images on the screen even with the use of their iPhone or Mac computer. Students can easily use Apple TVs to work cooperatively through play while also familiarizing themselves with the latest technology. Many of our students come from low income families, so access to technology such as the Apple TV is extremely limited. The benefits of an Apple TV are endless when they are placed in the right classrooms with the right group of educators! 

Budget Narrative

We will use these Apple TVs daily and they will be incorporated with whole group, and small group instruction. This additional instructional piece will give us the opportunity to teach in a brand new way!
