Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 16

The Reader Theater's impact on my students enhanced their reading skills and confidence by allowing them to practice reading with a purpose.  They loved being actively involved with their reading.  My student's comprehension, expression, fluency, and their joy of reading has greatly improved because of the Reader's Theater.

Goal

Reader's theater is an excellent way to make changes in my students' fluency, writing, listening, and social skills. 

 

What will be done with my students

Reader's theater is a strategy for developing reading fluency. Student's will work in small groups orally reading parts in scripts.  

 

Benefits to my students

Reader's theater will encourage emotional growth, motivation, and engagement. 

 

Budget Narrative

Reader's Theater Script Box will be ordered through Lakeshore. The base cost is $40.00 with an extra $10.00 for taxes, shipping and handling.
