Goal

My goal is to use my previous Apple training, and student iPads already in the classroom to provide an immersive technology experience for my students each day they come into the classroom.

What will be done with my students

1. Students will complete projects or assignments on the iPad during class that can then be easily shown to all students in the classroom using the Apple TV connected to the projector.

2. As the teacher, I can show examples of good student work easily with my own iPad and can utilize different classroom apps in order to keep the students more engaged.

3. Greater ability for students to complete and share work electronically, keeping the students more engaged and reducing the number of copies to be made.

Benefits to my students

1. Bringing a more connected and digital learning experience into the classroom.

2. Giving students 21st Century skills, while still engaging with the learning standards on a daily basis.

3. Engages students more deeply in the learning.

4. Allows for a more fun and relevant classroom atmosphere.

Budget Narrative

The cost of an Apple TV direct from Apple or from Walmart is $70 before tax, and around $76 after tax. This investment allows 130 students this year and for many years to come to receive the benefits of a more technologically integrated classroom.
