What will be done with my students

The success of this project will be measured through a combination of student feedback, engagement metrics, and academic performance data. Regular assessments will be conducted to evaluate students' understanding of key concepts, while surveys and participation logs will help gauge the impact on student interest and engagement. This data will guide any necessary adjustments to ensure the continuous improvement and success of the program

Benefits to my students

The introduction of Tower Gardens will facilitate active participation and hands-on learning, leading to increased comprehension and retention of agricultural concepts. As students work directly with the gardens, they will develop critical problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of the food production process. Through regular interaction with Tower Gardens, students will achieve greater proficiency in gardening techniques and sustainable practices. This will be reflected in improved performance in assessments and projects related to agricultural topics.

Budget Narrative

First we will begin with the initial Tower Gardens, these vertical tower gardens allow for growing a vegetables in the least amount a space required. The Seed Starter growing kits allow for proper germination of plant seeds for the best possible outcome to growing food. The Tower Garden Plant minerals allow for these towers to remain dirt/soil free, the plants get their nutrients and the classroom avoids the mess. Both of the vegetable seeds varieties allow for students to observe the cycle of plant growing through many varieties of plants. Rock wool is the best medium for tower gardens, this takes the place of soil during germination and holds the plant in place while in the tower.
