Goal

The goal of this grant is to lessen the noise in the classroom as students are working on computers and individual work. This grant would provide each of my students with their own individual set.

What will be done with my students

Due to our schools 86% low socio economics status, our parents are unable to buy their child head phones at the beginning of the year and as needed through the year. All students should have access to needed supplies as those with parents who can afford to purchase them. This grant would provide each of them with their own set and a few extra as they are broken.

Benefits to my students

This grant would provide my students with a quiet learning environment. Through the day, some students are working on the computer while others are doing independent work. When the students on the computer are working without headphones, the classroom can get a bit noisy. With multiple students with learning disabilities, this makes it very difficult to focus. My students will benefit tremendously if this grant is approved!

Budget Narrative

35 pair of headphones will be purchased @ $17.99 each from amazon. Right now they are on sale. If price goes up, I will purchase as many as the budget allows.
