Goal

Our goal at Fairmount Park is to provide positive incentives rewarding scholars for academic and behavioral successes by following our schoolwide SOAR guidelines. In addition, we hope to improve the positive culture and climate of the school by providing incentives for staff as well. We're not just a school in the neighborhood, we are a neighborhood school,
What will be done with Students:
Student will be provided with the opportunity to earn incentives rewarding positive behavior and academic improvements.
As a school we hope to have the ability to provide scholars with uniforms, shoes, and other hygiene products in hopes to remove barriers to scholars attending school.

Benefits to my students

Since receiving this grant last school year, we have seen an improvement in behavior, attendance, academic success and access to resources. Our data indicates our attendance is the lowest since 2018, behavioral infractions have decreased.

Describe the Students

Our scholars come from a diverse background facing many adverse experiences. Some of the barriers our families face includes homelessness, poverty, food insecurity, trauma, and a lack of access to resources.

Budget Narrative

These funds with enable our school to continue to provide support, remove barriers and meet the needs of our scholars to succeed behaviorally, academically and social emotionally.
We are very grateful for this opportunity to continue our HEART work.
