Goal

To fill in an area used outside the classroom by all students. Our Wheelchair students currently cannot go into the same area as the rest of the class, because it is all dirt and there chairs get stuck.

What will be done with my students

We do science labs and group work in this area daily. When we have to take the wheelchairs out, they have to sit off to the side on the side walk, and get left out from the rest of the group. It is a huge safety issue and secludes the students from activities.

Benefits to my students

All students can be included. It won't be a safety hazard any longer. All my students with IEP's can have their needs met.

Describe the Students

We have three levels of students. Intensive, Moderate, and Mild. The students have various disabilities. We have some with physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as some with just intellectual disabilities.

Budget Narrative

Level the ground and lay the recycled rubber playground floor in level with side walks.
