Goal

Goal #1: Learn how to grow fruits and vegetable

What will be done with my students

#1: Students will identify the climate of the Region of U.S./State/City and how the rain/sun effect vegetation
#2: Students will research different plant life and requirements for maintaining growth
#3: Students will take on daily roles/responsibilities of caring the plants
#4 Students will measure the amount of space needed for each plant and how deep to dig
#5 Students will keep a daily chart to monitor the growth of the plants and job responsibility completion.
 

 

Benefits to my students

The Benefit for our students includes, but not limited to:

1. Students will learn how to work together (with other students) to complete task (team work).
2. Students will learn their regional climate of the U.S.
3. Students will learn how natural resources are vital to Mankind
4. Students will learn the proper way to nurture and care for plant life
5. Students will learn about value of health eating
6. Students will learn about the Food Pyramid and
7. Students will create meals with the vegetation growth
8. Students will share their vegetation with non-profit food pantry
9. Students will increase their math and science knowledge
 

 

Describe the Students

My students are both regular and Students with special needs. The students with specials needs ability various from every low to little support. However, students of all level and regular Education students benefit from working with a diverse learners. In addition, all students work well when the work is hands on and real world application. 

 

Budget Narrative

The budget for the Living Green at Azalea includes hands-on activities of growing plants. The budget includes a green house for growing the plants, soil for the plants , pots for replanting as the plants as they grow, and plants for the activity.
