Goal

To have students build and maintain a small chicken coop in our outdoor classroom in order to gain hands on agricultural experience with livestock  

 

What will be done with my students

They will build a small chicken coop and as well as care for and maintain the area and the livestock in ways such as cleaning, feeding and watering the animals.  

 

Benefits to my students

Hands on agricultural experience in construction as well as live animal care 

 

Describe the Students

ESE and high performing students all interested in a career in agriculture or aquaculture looking to gain real life hands on experience  

 

Budget Narrative

Our coop has already been donated to the school and the animals will be donated as well. We just need funding for a few of the building materials.
