Goal

To improve standard based learning in the classrooms integrating book clubs and informational text.

What will be done with my students

I will be able to differentiate my reading groups by their reading level. They will be able to use books in a group to learn the standards we are focusing on.

Benefits to my students

Students will bee able to learn the standards we are focused on in an interesting way with book clubs.

Describe the Students

I have ESE, low and high performers in my classroom. We are a title one school with free and reduced breakfast and lunch for all.

Budget Narrative

I hope to get book club books 5-6 of each book. I also hope to get scholastic magazine to use as articles in the classroom for compression, fluency and standard centers.
